Good Morning,
I am a newbie at this so apologies in advance.
I have recently bought a second hand 3D Robotics Quad. Looks quite old and it came with a ArduMega V1.4 Flight controller which is red and then another board that sits on top from DIY Drones in Blue called Hotel.
I have downloaded mission planner but cant connect to the flight controller to upload the latest firmware. Is this flight controller too old to do that? Are there any manuals on how to setup this flight controller and get it working?
Thank you in advance.
Cheers,
Mike

Btw is there anywhere on this forum for the NZ area. Wondered if anyone had a Pixhawk for sale maybe?
Thank you Chris.
No longer supported. Save yourself months of agony and just upgrade. Even an APM 2.x is fine -- they're less than $50. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&am...
Oh, So not even worth looking at? Would mission planner not upload onto it or do I have to write code to get it to work?
Way too old! That's from the dawn of the drone age (probably around 2010), now in museums everywhere. Upgrade to a Pixhawk and you'll be back in the air in no time
