Hi everybody,Is anybody interested in robotic mowers?I'm currently working on one using arduino mega, H bridges for DC driving and a 100W brushless motor for mowing but I'm a bit of a newbie. There are so many things to think about.Especially the precise navigation - I didn't find a (practical) way other than an induction cable and it shoudn't become complex and expensive.Additionally safety features like a reliable lift sensor or others like automatic charging, economic mowing patterns etc. are important for me.It should also be quiet to not disturb the neighbors.Maybe there are some ideas e.g. with ArduRover or other projects?I guess there would be many people that would like to build their own robotic mower.Kind regardsSven

Slightly off topic, but I'd love to see something similar but for the purposes of cleaning inside a factory. I can see potential issues with GPS locks and detect, sense and avoid with obstacles.

Does anyone know of anything similar?
Hello,
Actually, there is such a project: Ardumower (link)
The goal of this project is to develop an open source Arduino lawn mower :)
