Hi all
I am ordering the ardupilot mega and have been looking at OSD's. The one that gets recommended on this site is remzibi. I know it is compatible with ardupilot but it does not seem to support antenna tracking. Is it only eagletree systems that support antenna tracking or can anyone recommend another OSD system.
Or is there a point of having an OSD if using a ground station as this already shows voltage, position, etc
Thanks

I was thinking about buying a Ardupilot, telemetry Kit XBee Pro 900 and an OSD Remzibi, besides building a tracking antenna. All controlled by a laptop.
What do you recommend?
Excuse my English is not handling it very well, my native language is Spanish.
I have a working APM 2.02 with Remzibi OSD in bench test now, with pan and tilt for video camera, Artificial Horizon and 2 APM text status lines.
This setup requires a 4 pin header on port 0 (USB) in the air to Xbee and splitter cable on port 3 to OSD with header to FTDI USB to read port 3 in the middle for bench testing. Flight testing to come soon.
I am just keeping up with code changes to APM 2. Bugs have settled down a lot, most have been fixed. I tried to mix OSD and Mavlink on same port (3) but, had too many issues, so I split them, OSD is on port 3 and Mavlink TM streams on port 0. OSD screen is very busy with 2 status lines and all data, Ch 5 turns OSD on/off.
You can reconfigure OSD screen to your own needs. I may display this at Sparkfun AVC tomorrow. I hope to get some good advice from the Robot builders!
