Ardurover Problem with ESC/steering outputs on Pixhawk

So I'm using mission planner 1.3.48 Im building a Rover platform.

i had to use an older build version because this was the earliest build I could find that supported the rover.

My build is a converted Traxxas Sledge Hammer an a PX4 that I stripped from my X8+ with all the peripherals.

I have Motor/ESC going in channel 3 on the PX4. An my steering servo going into channel 1 I believe.

My issue is I'm trying to find the right parameters in MP to controller my ESC an my steering servo through the OUTPUT channels 1 & 3, from my taranis.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
