Hi All,
I am starting out with the Droid Planner on my tablet and have not gotten into waypoints yet, but I was exploring the different tabs. Today when the hex armed, my DroidPlanner voice said, for the first time:
"Armed... Waypoints Received"
and a couple of new icons appeared at the bottom, one was "Auto" and the other I think was "Guided"...
Anyways, I did not intentionally set any waypoints and now I want to either delete them, OR prevent them from being loaded without my affirmative assent or request.
Beside now spending time to actually learn the software, which I am now doing, what can I do to prevent the waypoints from loading in Droid Planner?
Do I need top delete them from within Droid Planner, can I hook the thing up to the PC and delete them there, what is the best way to go about it?
Thanks,
Bill

That's automatic and you don't want to disable. The "waypoints" are probably now just one waypoint -- home -- and it's always loaded at start for safety.
Thanks for that...
My fear is that since it puts the "Auto" icon on the screen that if I accidentally hit it then it will take off somewhere.
This is also NEW behavior so I (think I) DID something to create a waypoint because all other proir (12 or so) armings at home and at the field DID NOT load waypoints. This started after I was messing with the Flight Data screen, for the first time, so this probably is not my HOME waypoint's loading courtesy Droid Planner voice call-out, else I would have had this behavior right from the start, no???
This acts like it is an actual waypoint that I unintentionally created being loaded, so now I really want to get rid of it.
If anybody wants to arm theirs without any waypoint present you will NOT get the "Armed... Waypoints Received" message as there are no waypoints to load! At least that was the assumption I was working under.
Am I all wrong on this? It just started, coincidentally right after I was messing with the Flight Data screen, clicking ion it, etc.. My next move is to go back to that screen and try and locate and then delete any waypoints.
Or is the "Armed... Waypoints Received" new and had been suppressed before, so that this is the HOME waypoint loading like Chris is saying?
Thanks,
Bill
