Firstly, this is my first post so, hello ladies and gentlemen. Nice to be here, this seems like a place for a great wealth of knowledge. I'll get right down to it...We're looking at assembling a whole new surveillance airship with far greater capabilities than the one we've got now. To be honest we love the idea of UAVs but we're not good (at all) with programming and (a bit) with electronics. This airship will be 2-prop servo tilt and we're looking for these capabilities:
Video
- Camera with at least x25 zoom
- Live video feed with recording
- Rainproof
- Gyro-stabilized (prefer brushless motors for the gimbal but it's unknown whether this exists yet)
- Video feed range of 10 miles
- Control via laptop or tablet or smartphone
Guidance
- Arducopter system? (we need to be able to plot waypoints and hold position)
So my question is, is there a UAV video system with these capabilities? Will it play nicely with the Arducopter system? If not, is there another guidance that would be better? ...or will the video system have to be totally independant from the guidance system?
Thank you for your help guys, I know that this stuff is second nature for you guys but we really need to get caught up!

Well, it doesn't have to be exactly that good of a camera. Does anything out there even come close?
