I am trying to work on implementing a landing flare and was hoping to get a few sensors wired up to help with this. I am at the moment just starting with sonar and airspeed, but in the wiki I see those both occupy the same port. I know the sonar has been tried with little success, but I want to see if I can combine it with other sensors to get a workable solution.
Are there additional ports on the board where one can easily wire up more analog sensors?

Yes, you can wire the sonar in through one of the analog pins usually associated with the voltage dividers for battery monitoring.
Actually, the sonar has not been really examined much for landing flare yet. I had another community member who was going to gather some sonar data during landing for me, and I was going to work on integrating the code, but we both got side tracked with other projects. I would be happy to help you with this and get it integrated into the code. PM me if interested.
