The kids and I have had a fantastic week of great weather and a lot of fun with the APM2 on our Bixler. Its been rock solid.
We have scratched the surface on each mode including stabilization, FBW-A, RTL, Auto, Auto Takeoff and Auto Landing. Most working well. Lots more to learn!
I have a question on the auto landing. The plane just seems to fly forever past the final landing waypoint. I have tried to reduce altitude in the previous waypoints with minimal impact. It just seems to be too quick and glide forever when the motor finally ceases. I dont normally use any motor for landings and have do circuits to eat altitude/speed.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
