I had installed ArduPilot-Arduino-1.0.3-windows. The code is been compiled also. We are trying to add on some extra mode to the arducopter for that we have to understand the source code what we had downloaded. If you can suggest some links where we can find proper explanation of the arducopter source code.

You will need a special version of the Arduino IDE: http://ardupilot.com/downloads/?did=45
Once you have opened the ArduPilot-Arduino IDE you should select the Ardupilot button in the IDE header and select the type of module you are using and then restart the IDE to being loading the source code and begin your modifications.
