avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00

Hallo, today I want to upload the new firmware for aducopter .41

after the compilation I get an error:

avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00

 

I read several Posts in this forum, and in the wiki to solve this problem. I have testet it on more than one pc and more cables, but can´t get it work.

 

What can I do?


Do I have to buy an new one?

 

I have the atmega 1280.

    You may have a bad cable, bad PC drivers, Bad arduino install. Moveing from PC to PC won't help so much. Maybe your doing something wrong on the PC side and duplicating that error wherever you go.

    Did you set up your Com port as shown in the manual?
