Hi all.

This is my first post around here so hopefully I hit the right place.

4 or 5 months ago I purchased a 3dr hexa-b kit with electronics and motors. I work away a lot and when I finally got around to completing the build (my first) I found one of the 880kv motors would just twitch and carry on instead of spinning like the rest did.

I contacted support, and even though it was outside the 90 refund window they fed exed me a new motor which I received yesterday. All excited I replaced the stuffed motor with the shiny new black one (the others were all orange) and it works beautifully. BUT now another motor that was previously spinning fine (the only work these motors have done is on the bench with no props attached) is doing the same twitching crap as the other stuffed one. 

I have tried swapping esc, using different motor position on pdb etc.

Can someone tell me if these motors really are that temperamental or was there a known problem with the orange version that required a change is supplier to the black version?
