Bad board I think

Sorry new to this I hope I am posting in the right place.

I have been using Openpilot CC3d boards and wanted to try something more versatile so APM 2.5. I think I have a problem with the accelerometer on the board but do not want to buy another if not necessary. The Quad hovers great but after a short while just starts forward flight without any stick movement. I will fly slow forward flight and after a short time it just flies fast forward. Tried flying with other motors and esc with 3 cell the same result. I have the controller on moon gell to dampen vibrations + the QAV500 frame also dampens fibrations from motors. Disconnneted all FPV equipment and still have the same result.

I have erased eeprom and setup 3 times using stock and tuned PIDs and have gotten the same result.

Here is my latest setup: QAV500

APM 2.5 with latest firmware and 2.91b

           Sunnysky 2216 Kv 800 II

DJI 30 amp Optos esc also have tried Simonk Flashed esc

           Graupner 9" E-Props

           4 cell 3300 mah lipo

Switched controller back to Openpilot cc3d and no problems but would really like to use

the APM 2.5 so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

  • Oh and the APM controller has never been in a crash or handled rough during shipment I will-called and personally picked up the APM from 3D Robotics.
