    I did try the ISP programmer and it works.
    First I load the code on a good mega.
    Then use the ISP and read to a file.
    Hook up the ISP to the blown mega
    write the file to the blown mega.
    Now the software is on the bad mega.
    Just need to modify the APmega code to NOT use RX0/TX0. Use RX2/TX2

    I know the real solution is to replace the bad mega but I have 3 now.
