Ballistic Quad Question

Hypothetically speaking: If i take my quad to 20m and completely kill the throttle, it will tumble and fall...

If i throttle back up, will it recover???

Thanks

Though Id ask before trying.... :)

I think that there are good chances that it will enter autoration, then you will not be able to start the motors again, because the ESC will not synchronize from a reverse rotation.

That's why i think it's better to use a throttle cut switch on the radio and never allow throttle to be shutdown during fly.

  • I was flying my old y6, hit a tree about 60-80 ft up and panicked and cut the throttle. Then I realized I shouldn't have done that and I put full throttle as it was tumbling and somehow it turned its downward motion into lateral motion coming right at me and I was able to kind of catch it. I lost 2 props though..
