I am new to arducopter and following the online guide to set up for the first time.
I have successfully loaded the USB driver for ardupilot 2.5 and connected the device to my laptop via USB.
The only other items I have connected to the ardupilot other than said USB cable are the 4 ESC's for my quad, on outputs 1 thru 4. To be extra clear, the battery is NOT connected. Only USB and ESC's are connected.
I am in mission planner and load arducopter Quad V3.0.1 just fine, verified firmware successfully.
I then head over to the terminal and click connect, perform basic BARO testing, but get error message "RPANIC" I have pasted the terminal session below. Is my board faulty or is additional setup required to perform even basic barometer chip testing? thanks in advance! NOTE: I have performed an "erase" function several times to "clear" the eeprom but below results are consistent.
