Chris, have you at all considered selling an "all in one" GPS board based on the uBlox chipset with built in voltage regulator, and battery with standard pins and EM406 connector? Surely this would be cheaper and more robust than the GS406 with another adapter board piggybacking?
I can also see such a GPS having an appeal with people interested in the paparazzi project.
Just a thought.
Nick
If you have an Ardupilot shield you don't need the adapter board Chris linked to.
You can solder a lead from to GPS to the pins I have shown below as follows:
5v-5v
GND-GND
TX-RX
RX-TX
You'd have to use our 3.3v GPS adapter and attach your own connector to the spare GPS pins next to the EM406 connector.
But why bother? The uBlox5 is a better module and we'll be selling it and the adapter as a combined set in a few weeks for less than you can buy them apart.
