Battery Failsafe

HI all this is my first post, I have hunted and can't find the answer to my problem.

I have upgraded Mission planner to the latest version, I am running APM 2.6 on the latest firmware.

I am using the 3DR power module and have it configured for a 5000mah battery reading both voltage and current. For Failsafe settings I'm stumped, I check off battery failsafe and I am unable to change the voltage from 10.5 and the mah from 1000 they are grayed out.

Also the power module doesn't seem to be reading my battery (I have tried multiple batteries) it gives me a calculated voltage and the multiplier but that's about it and they seem grayed out too.

I have my plush esc's set to cutoff threshold high but I am going to change that to low as per the wiki.

I am getting perhaps 5 min flight time then it looses power and lands.

Any help in solving the short flight time issue would be greatly appreciated. It seems to me that the battery failsafe is kicking in way too soon as on the flight data screen my battery is still at 99% now where it takes that reading from I don't know because as I said under the battery monitor screen it doesn't appear to be reading my battery.

Thanks in advance.

  • The voltage divider field is sometimes disabled on that screen, you can edit from the 'full params' screen.(click find then search for VOLTAGE). You will need to bounce back to the flight info screen to see how your adjustment impacts sensed voltage.
  • Thanks for the link and yes I have done that but if you look in the picture3692858628?profile=original have circled what I am trying to change as I am running a 5000mah battery
