Trying to buy an ArduCopter, following the links from diydrones.com, leads one to http://www.udrones.com/product_p/acrtf2.htm
There, it says "Ready to Fly" - "Batteries not included". Which is reasonable enough, since presumably the same store sells a battery ... but it doesn't. Or if the page contains a link telling you where to buy a battery ... which I can't find. Or even, at the bare minimum, tell us what _kind_ of battery to go looking for - or even, what battery form factors will fit on the vehicle, in regards to size and weight. But, AFAICT, none of this information is on the product page.
Someone, somewhere apparently knows what battery it is, because ArduCopters have been sold (i presume), perhaps this is just an oversight on the udrones.com site that they don't sell batteries, nor link to batteries for sale, nor even tell you what kind of battery is needed. Help?

I've updated the manual to make it a bit more clear, and we'll add this text to the RTF product listings:
Chris replied on another thread: "Some battery/charger recommendations are in the manual [..]. Most users have had RC experience (and gear) to date, but as drones are getting more mainstream, we're seeing more demand for an everything-in-the-box package, including batteries and chargers. We'll have that in Jan."
That sounds fine, but FYI most of us don't really need everything-in-the-box. We (as potential customers) only need to know what battery to buy. Without that info on the product page, or at least a link to the manual, who would buy a product without being able to put a battery in it? I guess it is early-alpha days if one does need to read the manual before placing an order, but even then IMHO the info needs to be findable without having to ask a forum question in order to buy a working unit. I strongly recommend to CC whoever is in charge of http://www.udrones.com/product_p/acrtf2.htm and tell them to add text to the effect of, "please read <link>this manual</link> to know what battery to buy".
