Battery Monitor

1) Has this been wired in in the NG code? Already killed one 40c battery, would like NOT to do that again.

2) what is the connector type of the BEC. I'd like to buy some

If you want to go the really direct route just pick up a separate battery monitor like this one from hobbyking.
  • Perhaps a small note for reviving your Lipo.

I had the same problem with a battery and ceel voltage was around 2V.

Put your charger in NiMh program and charge your Lipo with 10mA to about 10V for a 3S and 12,5V for 4S.

Then unplug battery and swith to lipo program and charge as ussual.

    This worked for me.

Still use caution when charging! Don't leave the battery unattended.

  • I looked today and couldn't find it either...

    ??

  • Appears Read_Battery() is not included.

I can see where its declared and called, but both are rem'd out and the call cannot be found.

  • yes voltage monitor is included in code, but you need to wire it up correctly, add an resistor and a beeper, and set it up in code

there are some instructions in ardupilot mega wiki
