Hello,
I joined this forum recently as I was just about to purchase drones for my grandsons and wanted information to help me select suitable drones.
I posted a question regarding suitable drones for my grandsons for Christmas.
I received a somewhat strange an personal reply from a person who I will leave nameless at this time.
She (yes female name) asked me to contact her regarding the question which I did.
I have received a detailed reply asking me for a lot of personal information and obviously one of those West African SCAMS.
This person should be banned from using this great web and forum.
I will disclose her name and email address if you are interested in ridding the forum of this nuisance.
Has anyone else had similar problems?
Regards
John (Australia)

She's been deleted. Sorry about that. Every now and then, one of them gets through but if you let us know about abuse we can ban them immediately
That's exactly the wording in the email I received.
Could the 'moderator' of this forum please delete PTT HOLLY. Also is there a way to pick up new registering people and not give them posting rights if they look 'dodgy'?
For information
I have just joined the forum and within 24 hours I get an email for a friend request from DIY drones, I deleted the message but here is from the email
PTT HOLLY has added you as a friend on DIY Drones

Best regards
Pretty sure this is another scam
No ,there was a similar message from the same id wanting help to transfer 5.8 million. Please DIYDRONE do something about these scams.
Looks like she's already been banned
The (diydrones) email received states the name is Sophie Reyer
When I went back to the email received (from mail@diydrones.com) and clicked on the link to reply (http://diydrones.com/profile/SophieReyer?xgsi=1#com) it shows her profile to be private and details are
Hope this helps.

Please link to the scammer's profile so the Moderators can ban "her". They can't act unless they know who to investigate.
I should have been more aware.
When I remember back I responded to a personal email address which she stated on the forum message.
Its been years since the "Nigerian scams" were around (with much the same email content).
I let my 'guard' down.

Even I received such a comment on my wall. That person must be banned.
