so I am not new to rc, I have a few ground vehicles(traxxas slash. and an axial crawler). but people tell me aircraft are a lot different, so... I'm on this site because I want to have aircraft that records video, but I want to control it and I don't want a computer controlling it. I mean I think its cool, but I just want to fly it..I don't know if I want a helicopter or an airplane, or what, I am surrounded by tree's with limited takeoff space so I am thinking helicopter. but I could use some help. I don't want to spend to much money on one,100-200 dollars. also is it more expensive to attach a video camera on it and then download it on my computer? or to fly it from the video(I guess like first person??) because I think flying it from a video is cool.appreciate any help, Jesse

The budget you have set will probably have you building your aircraft to save money. How are your building skills? Do you have tools and other construction resources?
There are several fixed wing aircraft that can be made from foam board. There are several multirotor airframes that can be made cheaply but the multiple ESC/motors and a flight controller run the cost up above your $200 cap or right up against it -- depending on the rating of the components.
The Flamewheel clones are usually less than $25 for the airframe.
4 motors at $15 each (cheap estimate) = $60.
4 ESC at $15 each (another cheap estimate) = $60.
Cheapest controller is around $20 (thereabouts -- very basic controller)
So far we are at $165 not including receiver and battery.
See, it adds up fast.
A live feed video system is more than your budget alone. It will be cheaper to bolt it on, fly it, and then download.

Good luck shopping and keep asking questions.
