If there's a better place to discuss build issues, can someone point me to it?

If this is the right place:  I'm building ArdCopterNG, and getting t some errors:

ArducopterNG.cpp: In function 'void sendSerialTelemetry()':
GCS:487: error: 'Serial1' was not declared in this scope
ArducopterNG.cpp: In function 'void APM_Init()':
System:49: error: 'DDRE' was not declared in this scope

Can anybody loan me a clue as to what I'm doing wrong, and any other hints for a first-time build?
