I received my Blitz R/C Sky Surfer and I really like the EPO foam, it might just be a little bit more stronger than the Easy Star EPO foam.
Either way this plane comes with ailerons already that I wont be using for now, but I will make all the modifications I made on my Easy Star and a lot more.
1) I will modify the rudder and elevator by extending them.
2) I will add a ABC plastic motor mount higher for my brushless setup with a bigger prop.
3) I will add high impact molding plastic to the front and bottom of the frame.
4) I will re-inforce the wings with carbon tubing
5) I will create a Batt compartment under the wings (on this plane you have more empty space inside)
6) I will create a custom longer FPV pod with all the ardupilot sensors , eaglee tree OSD, dataloger.
7) I will install the video transmitter and the antena stripped on the rudder to help CG
I will have everything installed inside the plane and since the bottom and front of the plane will have a sheet of high impact plastic used for plastic molding from the front and bottom and covering half of the sides, it will protect the foam against hard crashes, it will also help re-inforce the complete frame, this skysurfer is completely empty inside you can install components all the way in the back where the rudder starts, good space to install toys.
I will be posting pictures as I got with the modifications
here are just the first pictures of the first mod, removed all stickers and cutted the canopy area for the new custom fpv pod.

The batteries or battery will be installed from the bottom center of the airplane under the wings area, no need to remove the camera pod each time. Empty pod weight only 68grams
