Probably just best to stick with 3.0.1 stable.
I'm not sure there's going to be a software fix that can solve the hardware problem. We may be able to find a workaround, but you can't ignore the fact that it's not a good idea to fly on hardware you know is malfunctioning. You might be able to justify it if you are flying a cheap quad in a safe place. But I sure wouldn't recommend you use an APM with a blown 3.3V Reg on an expensive machine.
