so we bit the bullet and got a pre-tested hexa arducopter from jdrones.
after a few days of calibration and programming our first flight went like this:
can anyone explain what went wrong. Faulty parts or maybe a pilot that panicked? just to note no yaw controls were used during flight. Just throttle.
Any pointers for newbies flying for the first time? or second... It looks like we might have to convert the hex into a quad until the new parts arrive. Any advice for this process?
PS. that is my buddy's girlish scream of terror that you can hear...

Could be many things. Unless the pilot totally spazed and threw the stick hard over Id say a component failed such as a wire on ESC coming loose but could be any number of causes. You said it was "PreTested" why did you spend time calibrating it if it had already been done?
