Hello Fellows,
i have run into a strange problem. when arducopter is installed i can switch between all flight modes,
now i have installed ArduPlane on the same board, yet it refuses to go in any other flight mode.
I can see the green bar moving and i can select diffrerent modes. Upon Checking at the top it stays always on the same mode! ?
Has anyone encountered the same issue?

This issues was it not showing the updated values highlighted in green. The flight modes where set correctly however for plane/rover on CH8.
I fixed the code in AP2 so it will obey FLTMODE_CH setting for plane and rover. For copter it defaults to 5 as it is not configurable to any other channel. The fix will be in APM Planner 2.0.16-rc1 beta release.

The parameter FLTMODE_CH can be changed to any desired channel. Strangely enough, in Arduplane this is set to CH 8 by default but can be changed to CH 5 in order to match with APM Planner. That's what I just did and it works fine.
