Hi everyone, I am trying to figure out what is going on with my APM 2.5
I have just started to get my drone electrics online and flash upgraded the unit (using usb and my macbook air) everything went as expected and then I managed to connect to the unit through USB and got telemetry feed back along with being able to change the airframe settings. I got distraced and had to disconnect and come back and since then I haven't been able to connect to the unit. I have tried a windows computer too and reinstalling everything plus reflashing the unit with no luck.
I have managed to open the comms monitor unit in MP and found that the unit is starting up when i connect to it however, i am getting the following error:
Opened port!
Link usbmodemfa131 is connected.

I am obviously assuming that this is something to do with the barometer on the board however, I don't see how this could have changed from turning on and off. The only light that i have on constant is the power green LED. The blue and red led's only come on briefly at start up and then stop.
Please help -
Thanks

seem to have solved the issue - I had a chat to 3DR and they pointed me in the direction of the 3.3v regulator. On measuring the output of it I had no voltage which would make sense. Unit was out of warranty so have had to order a new one. In the mean time i am getting a new IC and going to replace it so i have a backup unit.
Pain in the backside but least I am at the bottom of the issue.
Hope it helps.
Thanks, that was my problem too. I'm going to try to order a new regulator chip and solder it on.
Have you figured out a solution yet? I am having the same issue.
