So i have calibrated my ESC's however i don't get 4 tones for my 4s battery only 2.. I have followed APMcopters ESC calibration instructions, both individually and all at once. When i do the all at once method after raising the throttle and disconnecting and so on, i capture the maximum and minimum throttle and when i raise the throttle to test, all the motors spin up at the same time and same speed which appears to be correct.
I exit calibration mode by disconnecting the battery with the throttle all the way down. I reconnect my battery and wait for the gyros to adjust which is indicated by the red and blue flashing lights. The red light flashes 4 or 5 times by itself and then the blue light turns on solid and the red light is flashing which suggests to me that its disarmed. I have a DX8 Tx, i hold the throttle down and to the left and the red light goes solid for a second or so and then starts flashing again. sometimes if i quickly turn the throttle up while the red light is solid for that few seconds i can get the motors spinning but they are not spinning like they were in the calibration test. Some motors spin at different times and speed. In some cases i have turned the throttle back down to the minimum and one of the motors will stay on. completely unresponsive to my Tx :S.
