Cannot get APM to Arm

I am posting this in hopes that I can get some help beyond the troubleshooting guide.   After a bad crash and rebuild.  I have been able to fly however after I did a rebind of the transmitter to the receiver I have not been able to fly.   I believe that that has been corrected but now I cannot arm to fly.

My current situation.

I have a spectrum DX7s

I have a AMP 2.5 running v 3.0.1.

All the configuration has been done;

Firmware correctly selected for 'X' frame.

Radio calibration done.

I am able to calibrate the ESC per the instructions and they spin up in sync as I would expect.  Once I disconnect the battery and reconnect is when I run in to issues.

the APM led's cycle blue red as you would expect.  I Get a GPS lock and then as I attempt to arm (Throttle down and to the right for a few seconds), the red light illuminates briefly then instead of going solid it just goes dark.

Being novice here and scanning the discussion boards I am not able to find a thread with any next steps.

Any advice from an experienced user?

  • Any chance the "rudder" on the DX7 got reversed? Also check that the trims on the DX7 are at defaults. Also, when you re-bound the radio are you sure you bound it to the correct model? You might start over with a "clean" model on the DX7.  Also I would go back into MP and redo radio calibration.
