center stick value

Hi, did the first flight today, it was very nice. I noticed that it drifted a bit even when the right stick was centered. Also noticed that in configurator it seems the value is right below center, is that normal or should I adjust my transmitter center value so that the configurator bar is at the blue line in the middle?

Maybe, if the value 1500 is center in configurator/firmware and the transmitter sends 1493 or something when the stick is centered, then that would make it less stable in the air?

    Hey martin,

When you trim to 1500 in configurator use your radio's subtrim function and keep your trim tabs centered so that you always know where they should be.

If you move your trims to the middle and then run the initialise transmitter (set-up transmitter?  can't remember what the button is exactly called) in the configurator it should capture the mids and the software will use that from then on.

or as taylor says just modify the trims.  of course, your quad will always drift a bit unless you have something like a mouse sensor or gps holding it still.

  • When you are hooked up to the configurator, just adjust your trim so that it lines up with the center of each green bar.
