Since upgrading to 3.1, I've had the following issue:

If my throttle trim is zero, then channel 3 is 1050 when transmitter is on with throttle stick all the way down.  When my transmitter is off, then channel 3 goes to 1150.

In order to make throttle zero higher than transmitter off (for failsafe to work), I need to bump my throttle trim up about 1/3 to get throttle zero to get to 1180 or so on channel 3.

However, when I have the trim this high, the DJI ESCs go crazy beeping when I power-up, because they think I'm powering on with throttle on.  This is even though I calibrated APM so it knows the throttle is off even with the trim so high.

Any thoughts on this?  I have a spekrum radio/receiver.

Thanks!

  • The only way around it is to set your radio failsafe. I have no idea how or if you can do that with your spectrum gear.
  • I would think this would be a common issue...
