For those of you interested, Chris just appeared in Life Hacker - talking about how he works, the gadgets he uses, what his office/workshop environment is and of course mentiones 3DR. It also has pictures of his home workshop. Makes for some interesting reading.
I have to agree with the productivity tip: Don't watch TV. Ever.

Very true, I don't own a TV and haven't sat down and watched TV for 1 year and a half!
