Hi all,
I'm an academic sociologist and am starting a new project exploring social and ethical aspects of non-military UAVs. I am particularly interested to find out about any interesting cases where UAVs have been or are being used by citizens to improve their situation somehow. Perhaps through imaging, sampling or other surveillance/sousveillance practices. It seems these kinds of activities are very possible, and that the technology is accessible, but I am looking for non-corporate, non-government uses which have a civilian purpose beyond proof-of-concept demonstrations or hobby.
If you are involved in something like this, or have any ideas or pointers I would be really interested to hear from you.
