CM-26N CMOS Video Camera brightness / over-exposure

I have this camera, the cm-26n.  I have tried hooking directly to a TV and via a wireless transmitter.  I am using the spark fun RCA breakout board and adapter to connect it. 

 

Indoors the video displays but it looks very over-exposed.  Outdoors the video is completely white.

 

What could be causing the problems with the brightness on this camera?

    Well no luck on this camera.  I've got an HD Hero on the way.
