So I recently set up a quad using (similar to) @Patrick Duffy's long-range wifi system. So basically a Raspberry Pi running MAVProxy acting as both a communications radio and live feed transmitter back to my command center. I also wrote a short script where I can use the webcam I have set up on it to snap pictures at intervals (2-5 seconds). I set this up for doing some mapping work, so my question is: Can I have the Pi pull the GPS coordinates as it takes a picture and write it to the EXIF data of that picture? I know I can run it through Mission Planner after the flight, but I think it would be neat if I could have it geotag in real time, rather than in post-processing.

Hi Michael,
Really interested with your experience on auto-geotagging the image. Would you mind to share it?
Thanks in advance.
