Hi,
My quad (stock GAUI 330 + arducopter 2.1.0 from APM) is circling in loiter mode. From what I read in this forum and the wiki this may me caused by a wrong compass inclination.
If I take my copter outside with mission plannner connected and wait for GPS lock, I can see that if I place my copter facing parallel to the road I live next to, the copter symbol on the mission planner is not pointing in the same direction as the pictures from google. It is about 5-10 degrees off.
Would it be right to assume that if I change the inclination value so that the copter symbol is pointing parallel to the road in google that I have set the right inclination?
Yours,
Gerrit Jan

Sound right. It's the declination BTW. Try and compensate by entering a new declination in the cli. +- 5to10° until you get good alignment.
