I bought a generic UBlox 6M /Mag combo & am trying to get it running correctly on my APM2.6.
I hooked it up with FTDI cable and UCentre. When I set it to 9600baud I started to find satellites.
I checked WiKi & found reference to 3DR-UBLOX.txt file to configure GPS to correct parameters. When I click on link it is broken!
I then did Google search on 3DR-UBLOX.txt and found several files & all different. I downloaded one of these from a Github repo & uploaded it to GPS.
It is now configured to 38000baud, but is very slow to get 3D lock. The update also appears to be 1HZ.
My questions are-
1. Where do I download the latest configuration file for using UBlox-6M with APM2.6?
2. What is max update rate that UBlox-6m can run & how do you set it?
3. How do I determine if my UBlox is running the latest UBlox firmware?

This forum is pretty poor in response to the Multiwii forum to which I also belong. If I didn't get a response on MW or post a reply for assistance within 24hrs it was irregular.
After getting no response I tried further research & one of the GPS APM download links worked. My GPS/Mag now connects immediately but still takes up to 5 minutes to get a 3D fix in open space.
My other quad running Multiwii V2.3 Navi B7 with same Ublox-6M gets solid 6+sats in approx. 60seconds.
Maybe the GPS/Mag module I'm using with APM2.6 is defective.
Can someone please advise what is normal 3D lock time for UBlox GPS on APM2.6
