So this jumper, looking at the wiring diagrams and the directions I'm confused.I have 4 switching esc bec and a power module. I have the jp1 installed should I pull it?Everything is working I am keeping it in because I don't trust the power module if it fails I have no power to the APM.correct?

If any one of your motors or ESCs fail, your quad is going to crash. Does it really matter which single point of failure item fails? The result is always the same.
For what it is worth, I power my APM and receiver with a 5V UBEC connected to the input pins. I have JP1 removed. I do not have the bec wires from the ESCs connected to the APM.
