Hi everyone, I have an external mag and GPS combo. The problem I have is that the Pixhawk outputs 5 volts over the ic2 connection, the mag takes 3.3. Any simple solution to make this work? Thanks Roman

The 3DR GPS/Compass combo uses the 5vdc supplied to the GPS to provide a regulated 3.3vdc for the compass. Therefore the compass does not use the power provided by the I2C connection.

Unfortunately this is not a 3dr combo. But I want to use it with the pixhawk. I saw a board in the store that sells for about 13 bucks that says it would drop the voltage from 5 to 3.3. Would that work? he Gps mag combo I am using is a c0n6 plus. Thanks Roman
