Connecting APM 2.6 to turnigy 9x receiver

Hello everyone,

I am currently building a quad copter using APM 2.6 and Turnigy 9x RC. I am trying to figure out how to connect the APM to the receiver. After spending sometime reading about it, it is still not quite clear. I would appreciate anyone to provide some guide on the subject matter.
