I wanted to add the following one bit of advice on setup of Cheerson CX 20 telemetry when using 3DR V2 radios....if this repeats previous posts, sorry.  I know there are several varieties of CX 20 on-board electronics and I'm not sure which I have. Just know that it has a UART telemetry socket/port unlike some that have no socket at all.  The following is specific to those with UART socket/port and using 3DR V2 radio..

Use the 6-to-5 pin wire connector (6 pins one end, 5 pins other end).  The 5-pin end goes into the aircraft's UART socket/port and the 6-pin end goes into the 3DR radio.  The wires on the 5-pin end that go into the Cheerson CX 20 aircraft board are opposite the way they need to be.  You cannot flip the connector and just plug it in.  Connector goes in only one way.  Splice and solder the wires or change the pin positions to make 3DR V2 radio work.  There is no need to be soldering wires to the main board(s).

When I initially installed my 3DR radio, I had no power (green light), so I tested and discovered this.

I am new to UAV's but not new to RC aircraft and, like others, I too search for help and like to share experiences. I hope this helps some of my fellow hobbyists
