connecting rc-receiver7transmitter to the ardupilot 2.6

Hi,

''m trying to connect an rc-receiver and rc-transmitter to the ardupilot unit...i've connected it to the input on the ardupilot..but there's no signal at the output-unit on the ardupilot...no servo is working.

Michael Oborne told me, that i need to calibrate the servos first with an rc-transmitter.

I want to control a helicopter via Laptop an joystick....but it doesn't work.

Could someone help me?

How do i have to connect and configure them all to the ardupilot?

I've tried anything...i can connect the ardupilot to the Mission Planner via usb or telemtry kit (433)..but it doesn't work....:(((

Best regards

Matthias

  • I'm sure you figured this out by now but just in case. The center pin on the output side needs power for the servos. The power module and APM do not power up the output / servos [ unless you do the jumper inside but %90 don't do this for safety reasons ] . Do this either from your esc bec or if flying nitro a 4 cell pack with a separate switch to power up the output side center pin.

"If you're using APM 2.5, we recommend that it (and its accessories, such as GPS and 3DR radios), be powered by the included Power Module. You'll still need an ESC plugged into the usual Output 3 pins or BEC plugged into any spare Output pins to power your servos, however; the Power Module is only designed to power APM itself."
