Control PWM using RC

In our project we have successfully used a PWM from a AT89C2051 controller (frequency 50hz) to control a brushless motor through an ESC. We changed duty cycle using a push button and varied the speed of each motor. But we are failed to control this pwm using RC.We are using P89C51RD2 as master micro controller.
Anybody have idea to control pwm of AT89C2051 using RC input?Please help us.....!!!
