Correct hookup of Turnigy 9X 8C V2 to APM 1.4

I am a serious newbie, and stuck at several points (but slowly making progress). I was wondering if anyone can confirm the hookup of the the Turnigy radio to the APM 1.4


The APM 1.4 has IN1 - IN8

Turnigy 9X has 10 connectors

Ch1 - Ch8

BAT

BIND

I have

APM 1.4      Turnigy

IN1              CH1

IN2              CH2

IN3              CH3

IN4              CH4

IN8              CH8

Also, I have the connections straight through (so bottom pin on APM 1.4 is connected

to bottom pin on radio. Does that sound good?

    that's correct. but make sure that ur turnigy 9X has 3 postion mode switch assigned to channel 8. because CH8-IN is used for mode setup in aruplane and CH5-IN in arducopter software..
