My Jdrones hexa copter arrived just before Christmas, unfortunately the box was damaged, couple of the legs broken and two spare motors I ordered missing :(
Have email jdrones, will wait to hear from them about the shipping issues.
My biggest concern however is if the electronics were damaged in transit in anyway.
When I select terminal, I get a heap of garbage characters, have tried uploading the firmware several times, each time the garbage is different when I connect.
When I try to upload waypoints, then download to check, I extra waypoints appear, and home resets to 0,0 despite my stating where home should be.
So, are the electronics damaged?

Derek, on AC home isnt saved to eeprom. and the planner should handle it a little better than it does at the moment. so long as the AH is wokring id say your board is fine.
The terminal is just showing MAVLink binary. You need to hit Enter three times to get the CLI prompt.
But why do you need the CLI anyway? It's not needed for any part of the setup.
