We have built X5 with APM2.6. We hope to use it for aerial photography. Unfortunately, it crashed really badly - After ‘auto-takeoff’, it suddenly went into a straight vertical dive. Thank you so much! This can be considered to be the first flight. We launched it three times before that, but only to test the auto-take off; without any long flight plans. It was hand launched. RTL altitude was set. But it crashed between reaching the default altitude and the first waypoint. CG looked correct, but I would love to hear about your method for balancing it 20-25 mm forward. How do you achieve that? I will be grateful if you could explain and maybe share your param file. Thanks again!
