So I think you're asking, "if you attach the battery to that 12V input and attach your servos in the regular place on the left, can you get away without using a BEC?"

It's a good question but I am nearly 100% sure the answer is 'no'. I think that the regulator in the APM can handle the 12v input from the battery (although I've never tried putting in more than 6V). The problem will be that the APM's regulator won't be able to supply enough power to the servos. It will be able to power 1 or maybe 2 servos but not more than that (I have tested this).

So you still need your BEC and if it outputs 5v you should connect it directly to one servos power pins on the left.
  • Ok, then asked me if I can stream but not so hard to maintain consumption of servos?, Now I'm giving power to the rx and servos with the esc bec, but it was a question to see if I could cancel the bec and use an external regulator to power servos, rx and APM.

Thank you very much for the reply, a greeting.

Not in the way you've outlined above. You would be supplying ~12V directly to the receiver and servos, which would almost certainly destroy them.

Even if you were to use a regulator, I would not recommend using this connector to supply power out to the receiver and servos, as the PCB trace from SJ1 back to the servo connectors is much too narrow. You would risk burning the trace and losing rx/servo power while in flight.

The connector is strictly an input for powering the APM separately from the rx/servo power.
