delta swept wings

Hi, can you please help me about how swept and delta wings are manufactured in the factories , i need information specific to their cross section details.

  • Hi, are you referring to the orientation of the wing ribs? The wing section information (profile) usually refers to the direction parallel to the plane's longitudinal axes. When the ribs, or parts of them in front of the front spar are placed normal to the spar the ribs' shape is not the same anymore than the profiles, but their projection, i.e. the ribs get shorter. In full size aviation this is very often used because it builds lighter structures.
    For a model or small UAV the weight saving is probably not enough to justify the complication of different rib orientation.
    Particularly on a film or fabric covered wing the ribs always should be parallel to the fuselage sides.
    If OTOH you deal with a slender wing like the Scan Eagle I would use ribs which give me the shortest length between LE and TrE and a sufficiently thick skin to keep a true profile.
