I have a peculiar fault on the APM2.5.
Fires up ok
Can access apm via CLI
Can upload new firmware via Arduino and MP
But When connecting to mission planner, MP starts reading vars but freezes when it gets to battery_voltage!
I could understand if it didn't read, or read the lot, but to reliably start reading and to the same certain point and then freeze, doesn't make much sense!
Anyone experienced this problem?
Using a magnifying glass, There is no visible damage to anything.
The board is genuine 3DR
Have cleared EEPROM ok
Uploaded arduplane/Arducopter ok
Same problem reading fails when it gets to battery_Voltage variable

Sounds like it could be a problem with the onboard A to D converter maybe?
