After a few days re-surrecting my old APM 1.4 build I have connected and calibrated my FrSky D8R-II Plus to my Turnigy 9XR radio without a hitch, until now. After pulling APM and my radio apart to test each ESC I no longer see a familiar LED on my receiver indicating I have power and/or a connection. I do not have a voltmeter and have not seen nor smelled any smoke from the fuse on the APM board. Pic attached.
Here's what I've checked so far:
- Shifted radio power from 1st 5V output set to other pin outs, just fishing...
- Powered the receiver directly from a 5V output on an ESC
- Swapped out cabling between APM and receiver with new cables
I am happy to make the jump to APM 2.5 and above once I'm sure I haven't fried the receiver, tips and/or suggestions appreciated to either power the radio via other means and or identify if the fuse/APM board requires replacing. :)

Resolved, the receiver was dead, not sure if I was to blame or it just gave out. In the air again :)
